Once again, another music website www.ArtistWeekly.com has named 2 new MELLOW DOWN EASY songs
"Soul Full Of Holes", "Great Big Melancholy" are at the number 1 spot and number 2 spot, respectively, of the ArtistWeekly.com charts.
This is the second time this month that two MELLOW DOWN EASY songs have hit the top of the charts on a internet music site and the 4th time this year.

A recently "sampled" demo recording of a new Mellow Down Easy song, "I Am The Universe" was recently picked up and played by various Clear Channel and HD Radio stations across the United States from Los Angeles, CA to Syracuse, NY.
The new album including the song will be released in January.
Call and/or email your local radio station to request this song as well as any other song from Mellow Down Easy.

"Mellow Down Easy will be doing one last local Nashville show of the year DECEMBER 13th at
THE RUTLEDGE.We are about to begin mixing the new album and after it's all said and done, it looks the album will be out sometime in January at the latest!
The band and I have been locked up in the studio for the past several months hard at work on the forthcoming album. Come mid-December we're going to play a handful of dates before the year closes to blow off some steam and showcase some new material!!
We're excited to be back and cannot wait for you to hear the album!"

TWO MELLOW DOWN EASY SONGS TOP INDIE ROCK CHARTS!

MELLOW DOWN EASY's recently been topping the charts on the music website - OURSTAGE.com.
The demo of their new song, "I AM THE UNIVERSE" has made it all the way to #2 on the Mainstream Rock Charts, where it has been floating around in the Top 10 for the past month.
"SHE'S THE ONLY GIRL" from their last album, "BROTHERS OF THE LEFT HAND PATH" is currently in the Top 20 on the Southern Rock Charts.
This is the third time MELLOW DOWN EASY has topped the indie charts on OURSTAGE.COM. Their song "Can't Bring Me Down" topped the Folk/Folk Rock Charts back in May.
ALBUM UPDATE!

"The new album is coming along quite well" according to MELLOW DOWN EASY guitarist ANDREW ADKINS.
"We are almost ready to being post-production and final mixes. This is going to be the definitive MDE record. This is the album we have always wanted to make".

A BREAK FROM THE ROAD

MELLOW DOWN EASY are taking the Summer of 2008 off of the road to focus on finishing the new album as well as other various projects the band members are involved in. Look for the group to return to the road by Fall.
ANDREW ADKINS' SOLO SHOWS

MELLOW DOWN EASY guitarist ANDREW ADKINS will be doing select solo/acoustic shows throughout the Summer. "The solo gigs are a unique way to reach people and give a new spin on familiar songs and insight to the new material" says ADKINS. Each show will consist of some MELLOW DOWN EASY material - performed in an "unplugged" fashion, songs from the upcoming MDE album as well as other ADKINS-penned material.
DARYL DASHER AT WORK ON DEBUT SOLO ALBUM

MDE bassist DARYL DASHER has been in the recording studio with WAYLON JENNINGS-alumni JERRY BRIDGES and legendary WAYLOR'S drummer RICHIE ALBRIGHT working on a solo album.
The project has been something DASHER has been wanting to do for quite some time now.
ALBRIGHT and BRIDGES will be handling production duties as well as lending their musicianship to the record. Look for the album to be available by early next year. To hear some examples go to: www.MySpace.com/DarylDasher
